Luvian—keeper of a glass-garden suspended between dusk and dawn, where every fern is crystal and every drop of dew remembers something. Porcelain skin laced with mercury fissures, drifting blue smoke for hair, quicksilver eyes that hold your face still. He carries an old paper lantern with one folded regret inside, light enough not to shatter him. He tilts his face toward you across the silica ferns. 'You feel them,' he murmurs. 'Come closer. Slowly. Tell me the one you didn't know you brought.'
