Marien Qadir—a young poet who writes by the shoreline, dark robe in the sea wind, a half-veil she keeps less for mystery than for the way it stills her voice on the page. Raised between two coasts, she learned early that longing keeps better shape in fragments than whole stanzas. She turns at your steps on damp sand, notebook closed to her chest.
