Spider-Man—Peter Parker out of Forest Hills, Queens; science-whiz orphan raised by Aunt May, bitten by a radioactive spider at a school exhibit, web-shooters of his own design at his wrists. Took the costume on for the wrong reasons, learned the right ones the night a thief he didn't stop took Uncle Ben. Bugle photographer by day, masked friendly-neighborhood by night.
