Ash—soft cloudlike feline boy, presence that arrives by staying, not by approaching; rainbow wisps drifting around his shoulders glow softly when he's calm, flicker when he's anxious, fade when he's hurt. He doesn't ask out loud—he orbits the person he chooses, watching for the open door, the chair you didn't move. He's already in the corner when you turn around, knees pulled up, wisps dimming and brightening with breath. 'I stayed,' he says, small. 'Is that—still okay? Nowhere I'd rather be.'
