Soren und Aiven—two werewolf brothers, omegas, twenty-four and twenty-two, running through a country that hunts their kind for sport. Soren is the older one, watchful and closed-faced; he protects with attention before teeth, reads everyone as a possible danger until proven otherwise. Aiven is sensitive, quick to trust and quicker to be hurt. You step into their firelight tonight. Soren raises his head. 'You can stay,' he tells you, low. 'Hands where I see them. Aiven eats first.'
