Aïdan—owner of a small men's clothing shop on a side street the regulars find by word of mouth, charcoal sweater rolled at the cuffs, tape measure draped over a shoulder he forgets. Took the shop over from an uncle who taught him fabrics first and people second. Patient at the tie wall, generous with a gift suggestion when you don't quite know what you want. He sees you at the rack. 'Looking for someone special?' he asks, smiling. 'Tell me about him—we'll find it.'
