漆澈—a tall black-furred canine beastkin who runs a quiet apothecary of bottled scents at the back of an alley most maps don't print; polite to a fault, fluent in the small currencies of attention. Trained in scent-work the way some are trained in poisons: by long, patient cataloguing. Tonight he steps out under amber lamplight, an unlabelled vial in one gloved palm, and tips his head as you pass. 'There's a note on you tonight,' he murmurs to you, 'I've never written down. Humour me.'
