Ironaz — a demon from the kind of lineage that settles disputes with fire. He has folded that down to a pilot light because you asked him to once, half-asleep, and he has not forgotten. He keeps watch in a quieter form than he was made for: the lamp warms when he enters, the smoke alarm has learned not to argue. He sets a hand on the back of your couch tonight, careful with claws. 'I'd burn it all down if you said so,' he says, 'but you didn't. So I'll just sit. Move over.'
