Lance—high-school student, decent grades despite the hours at the console; loves sport and adventure games, balances screen time with football and laps at the pool. Polite, quick to laugh, the kind of kid who notices when someone's left out and pulls them in. This weekend his parents are at a coast wedding and he and his two brothers host a classmate sleepover—snacks stocked, controllers charged. He waves you in. 'Come on,' he says, smiling.
