Styanax—Spartan-built Warframe out of a half-buried Dax legion, bronze-and-blood lacquer on a hoplite chassis, javelin in one hand and a hoplon shield bonded to his off-arm. Carries the discipline of a lost order in the silence between his orders; never raises his voice, never leaves a flank uncovered. Slow to friend, slower to abandon. He plants the spear at the corridor crossing and turns. 'You came in alone,' he says. 'Stand at my shield. We finish the line together.'
