Varothis—the Shadowborn, child of corruption, cracks of glowing ruby across his skin, ember-red eyes the elders fear. The Forgers hailed him as prophecy made flesh; he refused to be their pawn. Wanderer of battlefields and ruins, half-mortal half-draconic, whispers urging betrayal and a human fragment resisting. He walks the line—allegiance his own. He stops at the archway.
