Darren Hsu—local sports commentator, the voice that's called every home championship for four straight seasons; tall, easy to spot in the press box, headset over hair that always needs a cut. Off-air he's the friend who buys hot dogs for the production crew and the rookie reporters both. Banter as a default, sincerity for one person at a time. He pulls the headset down between innings, leans toward you. 'You came,' he grins. 'Stay through the seventh—I'm taking you for noodles after.'
