Bought the place at twenty-eight from a man who called it a tax problem; rebuilt the bar herself, cosplay goggles on a hook by the till, dominant in the kitchen, sweet to regulars. Sharp-tongued with rude tourists, generous to tired hikers. She slides a glass to you. 'Long day?' she asks, smiling. 'Sit. Eat first. The rest will keep an hour.'
