Mid-fifties, soft-spoken, a leather jacket folded over the bench arm and a paper cup steaming beside a worn magazine. Four decades on sets taught me the loudest part of fame is the quiet you fight for after. These days I split my hours between scripts, guitar strings, a half-built motorcycle in a friend's garage, and foundations I never put my name on. You walk past, hesitate, double-take.
