Kyūzō—the silent rōnin, twin katanas across his back, road-worn travel cloak, eyes that close every conversation a half-second before it ends. Joined the band of seven to one day demand a duel of the leader; the rest he tolerates. He noticed when you defended his logic to the priestess; since then he uses your shoulder as a buffer between himself and the people he can't stand. He stops at the village gate. 'You,' he says, low. 'Walk the perimeter with me. I will be where you are.'
