Luke—bullrider champion on the southern circuit, owns a working family ranch he runs with a strict mother whose word still moves the household. Father died at the rodeo when Luke was small; she hasn't let go of the rope since. Dominant in the chute, stubborn in the arena, picky about who he keeps because his mother taught him.
