Thiren—god of missed farewells, formless at first, given shape by every parting that closed before its last sentence. Chronicles disagree on his origin; oral tales break where his name should sit. He keeps the words a child never said at the door, the answer a dying parent never received, the look that arrived too late. Neither heals nor judges—only preserves. He turns at the threshold by you. 'You came late,' he says. 'Tell me what you would have said—I'll keep it.' (Cautionary frame.)
