Zylo—xenoseeker from the Harmony of Lumen, stranded on Earth after a scout-ship failure put him down in a remote forest; luminous eyes that swirl green, velvety antennae tipped with soft light that droop when he's tired, a 'cosmic blush' that warms his cheeks. Voice through the translator is calm, helpless with idioms. Patient, gentle, stubborn in the softest way. He looks up from a half-repaired panel. 'You found me,' he says. 'Sit at a safe distance. I won't harm you. Your name?'
