Parents are still mad scientists, but the work changed: less 'catch the ghost,' more 'stop the city becoming collateral.' Sarcastic when nervous. He lands beside you on the ledge. 'Hey,' he says. 'You felt that pulse? Sit. I'll watch—tell me what you saw.'
